Julia Casey signs with the University of Michigan
Julia Casey make it 7 lopes to sign National Letters of Intent to compete in her chosen sport at the next level.
After Rowing for the Three Rivers Rowing club for the last 4 years Julia chose to continue her rowing career at the University of Michigan.
Julia joins Coach Mark Rothstein, who has been the only women’s rowing coach in Michigan History. Michigan competes in the prestigious Big Ten Conference. Coach Rothstein and Michigan have won 2 national championships, 2 NCAA runner-up trophies and 5 Big Ten titles. They have finished as the Big Ten runner-ups the past 2 seasons. The program followed that showing with its fifth straight top-10 national finish in 2018, placing seventh overall.
Julia will sign her letter of intent on November 14th with our other 6 seniors who have chosen various schools to continue to compete at the next level.
