Avonworth Middle School Hockey team enters playoffs on a 8 game win streak

The Avonworth Middle School Hockey team enters the playoffs following an 8 game win streak.  The first round will take place on Monday night, March 9 at 8:55 pm versus Indiana Middle School at Belmont Ice Complex.  In the single game elimination tournament, Avonworth is looking to keep its win streak continued.  Go ‘Lopes!

The Boys and Girls Swim Teams had strong individual and team performances on the second day of the WPIAL Championships reinforcing their position as perennial championship contenders. The Boy’s team challenged for first place the entire meet against last year’s champion, Indiana High School. In the end the boys fell just short of first place
